National Youth Orchestras on Carnegie Hall+

Straight from the stage of Carnegie Hall, stream a dynamic new concert by NYO Jazz led by famed trumpeter Sean Jones with multi-genre vocalist Alicia Olatuja. NYO Jazz is one of Carnegie Hall’s three beloved national youth ensembles that bring together the brightest young teen musicians from across the United States to hone their talents each summer as they perform with the world’s finest artists and tour internationally to renowned concert halls.

Carnegie Hall+ also features NYO Jazz’s extraordinary performance with Grammy Award–winning singer Dee Dee Bridgewater at the BBC Proms and a special concert that commemorates 10 years of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA)—the first of many new concerts filmed at the Hall exclusively for Carnegie Hall+. Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin also leads NYO-USA All-Stars—comprising prestigious alums—and pianist Daniil Trifonov in a concert that features Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F and Shostakovich’s “Leningrad” Symphony.

Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night with Yuja Wang, Daniel Harding and the NYO-USA All-Stars

Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the USA tours São Paulo with conductor Marin Alsop and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet. The vibrant program features Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” and works by Barber and Rimsky-Korsakov. Recorded in 2024.

NYO2 at the Edinburgh International Festival with Rafael Payare and Alisa Weilerstein

Carnegie Hall’s NYO2 youth orchestra performs at the Edinburgh International Festival with a program that features Jimmy López’s “Peru Negro,” Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 with Alisa Weilerstein, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5. Recorded in 2025.

NYO2 in Dallas

NYO2, a Carnegie Hall ensemble of young musicians, premieres Jasmine Barnes’s “KINSFOLKNEM” with soloists Anthony McGill, Demarre McGill, Titus Underwood, and Andrew Brady. Teddy Abrams leads works by Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and Bernstein. Recorded in 2024.

NYO Jazz, Carnegie Hall’s national youth jazz ensemble, plays Manaus, Brazil with featured vocalist Luciana Souza. Led by trumpeter and bandleader Sean Jones, they perform at Teatro Amazonas, an opera house in the Amazon rainforest. Recorded in 2025.
