Mozart at The Morgan Library & Museum
In an unprecedented collaboration, the Mozarteum Foundation of Salzburg and The Morgan Library & Museum have partnered to tell the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s life and career with objects from Salzburg—including Mozart’s own clavichord and childhood violin—as well as a video installation that features excerpts of performances from Carnegie Hall+.
Among the video excerpts, is the Queen of the Night’s famous aria from Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Carnegie Hall+ is delighted to provide exclusive access to the full program of this stunning production performed at the Bregenz Festival.
Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”
With enormous fire-spewing “dragon dogs,” mythical creatures brought to life by puppeteers, and dozens of stunt artists, this 2013 production of Mozart’s beloved opera is a visually mind-blowing fairy tale.
