a. Collected from You

We may gather personal information that you give us, including your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and payment details.

• Fill out a “Contact Us” request

If we collect personal information directly from you, we may use it alone or in combination with information we acquire about you from affiliates or third parties, or that is publicly available from other sources, in order to better tailor and personalize our offerings and our communications with you.  Your information may be shared with us by independent organizations, e.g., Carnegie Hall and other performance venues, arts organizations, applications providers and survey providers.  These organizations should only share your personal information with us when it is required to complete a contract or you have consented.  You should check such third-parties’ privacy policies for further information.

c. Media Contacts and Influencers

2. Where We Store and Process Your Personal Information

We may collect and store information (including personal and non-personal information) locally on your device and within your web browser application.  We may also store such information in our databases.

We are a Delaware limited partnership headquartered in New York City, and your personal information may be stored and processed outside of your country of residence.  The personal information we collect is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable law, wherever your information is located.  As a best practice, we have networks, databases, servers, systems and support located in various U.S. states, and we may work together with third parties around the world (see “Sharing Information with Certain Third Parties” for further details).

3. Retention of Your Personal Information

We will retain your personal information for as long as we reasonably require it for legal or business purposes.  This period will be determined on the basis of applicable legal requirements and business purposes.  When such period ends or we no longer need your personal information, we will securely delete or destroy it.

Information we collect via the Carnegie Hall+ website, in addition to information we obtain about you from third parties, may be associated with your constituent record in our systems.  When information is associated with your constituent record, we treat it as personal information. 

4. Access to and Managing your Personal Information

You have the right to request access to and manage the personal information relating to you that we store and process:

• Access:  Upon your request, we will respond to you promptly and provide you with access to personal information we have collected from you. 
• Correction: You can help Carnegie Hall+ maintain the accuracy of your personal information by notifying us when you change your address, phone number or e-mail address, or if you think that any other personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or needs to be updated. 
• Deletion:  You may request that we delete your personal information.  Further information about your grounds for deletion can be found at ico.org.uk.  However, deletion of your personal information may not always be possible due to legal obligations and other factors.
• Restricting our Use:  You may request that we stop processing your personal information (other than storing it), if: (a) you contest the accuracy of it (unless the accuracy is verified); (b) you believe the processing is against the law; (c) you believe that we no longer need your information for the purposes for which it was collected, but you still need your personal information to establish or defend a legal claim; or (d) you object to the processing, and we are verifying whether our legitimate grounds to process your personal information override your own rights.

We may also make similar transfers outside of the EEA where you have explicitly consented or where we consider this to be necessary for:  (i) us to perform the contract with you; (ii) us to perform a contract with another party, which was made in your interests; or (iii) important reasons of public interest or to establish exercise of defend legal claims.

III. CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.  Any portion of the CarnegieHallPlus.com website intended for children under 13 will not request any personal information.  Children under 13 should not provide any personal information to Carnegie Hall+.  In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under 13, we will take reasonable measures to promptly erase such information from our records.

VI. USE OF COOKIES

VIII. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using secure sockets layer (sometimes referred to as “SSL”) software that encrypts information you input.   

We employ technical and physical safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access to user information that we maintain.  Since no safeguards are one hundred percent secure, we cannot guarantee that our safeguards will prevent every unauthorized attempt to access, use or disclose personal information.  Please notify us if you become aware of any issues.

IX. DO NOT TRACK (DNT) SIGNAL COMPLIANCE

Do Not Track (DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing Internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites by using browser settings.  The World Wide Web Consortium has been working with industry groups, Internet browsers, technology companies, and regulators to develop a DNT technology standard.

Our website does not follow Do Not Track settings in your browser because we use third-party services to conduct certain activities, such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which do not follow DNT settings.
